- Pelletized activated carbon
Classification Introduction
Product Advantages and Characteristics
- High Mechanical Strength: The extrudate pellets are hard and resistant to crushing and abrasion thus producing little or no dust in a high pressure system.
- Low Pressure Drop: Their regular cylindrical shape and particle size distribution leads to little resistance to the passage of gas or air through the bed of filter.
- High Purity and Adsorption power: Offered with selected raw materials providing an increased surface area and pore structure which facilitates ready adsorption of vapours and gases including odour.
- Available in various sizes and properties: Dimension of pellets from 1 to 8 mm and of pore structure can be adjusted to each case taking into consideration the kinetics, capacity, selectivity required of the adsorbent.

Relevant Application Scenarios
Air/Gas Treatment

Industrial waste gas treatment
Used to capture VOCs, solvents, and hazardous air pollutants from manufacturing and chemical process exhausts.

Air purifying
Purifies indoor air in commercial and industrial buildings by removing odors, chemicals, and gaseous impurities.

Bio odor control
Effectively controls strong, complex odors from wastewater treatment plants, rendering facilities, and composting sites.

Biogas
Purifies raw biogas by adsorbing contaminants like hydrogen sulfide and siloxanes, upgrading it to renewable natural gas (RNG) standards.
Chemical

Desulfurization
Removes sulfur compounds from various gas streams, including natural gas and syngas, to prevent catalyst poisoning and corrosion.

DeNOx
Used in processes to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) from flue gases, often as a component in catalytic systems.

Mercury Removal
Specially impregnated PAC pellets are highly effective at capturing vapor-phase mercury from coal-fired power plant flue gases.

Catalytic
Acts as a durable support material for catalysts in various chemical reactions due to its high surface area and stability.
Food & Beverage

Food Decolorization
It adsorbs unwanted colors and contaminants from syrups and oils, ensuring product clarity.
Personal Protection

Mask
Used in industrial and military-grade respirators to protect users from a wide spectrum of chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals.
